My official acceptance letter

I finally got my official acceptance letter in the mail from Youth for Understanding. It came in a huge packet on Wednesday April 30th, 2014. The packet is about an inch thick. I also got a pretty cool shirt from them as well. Hopefully I will have read the whole packet by the pre-orientation in Chicago!

I am happy and excited to announce that I will be staying in Germany for a year with the Youth for Understanding organization. I can't imagine a better program to go through than the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange with them.

There are tons of other scholarships and programs with them that can take you around the world. You also have the option of hosting internationals in your own home. It's truly an amazing organization. Go check it out!
